Principles of organization of advanced training courses for teachers in the aspect of the development of readiness for educational activities

Abstract

The article identifies the problem of teachers' poor readiness to implement the actual goals and values of education. The main problem of teachers' poor readiness for educational work is insufficient understanding of the humanitarian essence of education, which entails low
motivation to implement it, as well as the discrepancy between the knowledge of the theory and methodology of education existing in the minds of teachers and the current state of the development of pedagogical science in this area. The purpose of the article is to identify the principles
of organizing and conducting advanced training courses that ensure the effective development of teachers' readiness for educational work, taking into account the current state of the theory of education. Based on the theoretical analysis of modern scientific literature, the features of
the educational work of teachers in the conditions of paradigmatic changes that have occurred in the theory of education are revealed. The revealed features of educational work formed the basis for the consideration of the essence of teachers' readiness for educational work as well as its structural and content characteristics. The author's definition of teachers' readiness for educational work is given in the article, its components are presented and their content is disclosed.in conclusion, the principles of organizing and conducting advanced training courses aimed at the effective development of teachers' readiness for educational work are outlined.
